Hi, =20 We've got a web page with anchors such that you can go straight to a specific point on the page using a link like www.ourpage.html#anchorname. These anchor names correspond to the names of features in ou gbrowse database. I've tried to set up a link from the feature to the releavnt point on our page by adding a line=20 link =3D www.ourpage.html#$name to the track definition in the config file, but when you hover your mouse over the feature in gbrowse only the "www.ourpage.html" part remains. I've tried various combinations of quotes and escape characters and whatever I could think of, assuming that it was a problem with how perl was interpreting it, but it seems no matter what I put, anything after (and including) a hash is removed from the link. Elsewhere I have links to external, generated, pages of the type www.blahblah/blah?name=3D$name and they work fine, but I can't get basic anchored links to our own page to work. =20 Any ideas? =20 Thanks, Andrew Spriggs |
