The fonts in the menu bar etc... are very unsharp and blurred ...
I compare that with i.e. Inkscape on mac and I could see that the fonts much more clearer....
How can I change this to the same quality like in Inkscape?
Further more - I use the very clear and nice gtk theme "Clearlooks-Quicksilver-OSX" with Gimp OS X that comes with Inkscape OS X. It looks very well and should comes directly with the next Gimp OS X Versions

hhmm, Inkscape uses the same font as GIMP, depite the font size.

You can change the font in GIMP by editing the file "~/Library/Application Support/Gimp/gtkrc" . If it doen't exist, then simply copy the one you find in "Application/Gimp.app/Contents/Resources/etc/gimp/2.0". Edit the font from "Lucida Grande 10" to "Lucida Grande 12"

Second you need to edit the gtkrc in the theme directory too. The file will be in "Application/Gimp.app/Contents/Resources/share/themes/Leopard/gtk-2.0". Search for "font-name" and edit this accordingly.

In a future release I will make changing themes more easier. So please stay tuned .... ;-)
