  Lots of high end features at a great price of FREE. Mac OS X Tiger users should read the instructions before giving a thumbs down about not having X11. GIMP is natively written for Linux/Unix, so X11 is absolutely essential... and get this: The X11 software is on your Tiger CD! Holy cow! Problem solved! BTW, works just fine on my Macbook with Leopard.

  Really nice job in packaging GIMP for OS X. Installed and running on multiple machines, and it's running perfectly.
