First of all, I'd like to ask if you are porting GIMP 2.8.16 to Mac OS X. It came out a few weeks ago on November 21, 2015 but nobody has compiled and built an application package of it for Mac OS X yet. Your application packages for version 2.8.14 work better than the "official" ones from gimp dot org which don't work on Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
Also secondly your packages for Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks and 10.10 Yosemite also work on 10.11 El Capitan so could you please list it as a supported platform? On El Capitan you do have to enable installation of third-party, non-App-Store software before you can install anything not from the App Store but this is not such a big deal and after doing this almost any software that works on Mavericks or later works on El Capitan, including your GIMP builds.
