[Geotools-gt2-users] need help adding ExternalGraphic object to PointSymbolizer

Hi, I'm a newbie in Geotools & java too. Building my own application based=
=20
on the Spearfish demo code. I need to view points on the map using external=
=20
graphic objects (small 10x10 pixels gif files representing various objects)=
.=20
I just modified the Style code in the following way:

URL link =3D new URL("http://localhost/triangle.gif");
ExternalGraphic eg =3D sb.createExternalGraphic(link,"gif");
Graphic grBugs =3D sb.createGraphic(eg ,null, null);
PointSymbolizer psBugs =3D sb.createPointSymbolizer(grBugs);
Style bugsStyle =3D sb.createStyle(psBugs);

I don't get any errors while compiling, the application starts, but then I=
=20
get "Null Style!" messages over and over again and no points show on the=20
map.

Don't know how to solve it,
any help would be appreciated.
