I'm not aware of the details of MapContext work. I guess that it has=20
been improved in order to project automatically the bounds. In this=20
particular case, the projection failed because the CRS don't contains a=20
TOWGS84 element (in WKT format).

Which CRS are you using? If you parse CRS from WKT (Well Know Text),=20
does it contains a TOWGS84 element?

The stack trace show that Map.processMouseEvent has been run, and=20
consequently the MouseEvent should have been converted into a=20
GeoMouseEvent. Could you please (before the cast) try the following:

     System.out.println(event.getClass());
