Ant is actually quite clever in this regard in that it interprets both \ 
and / in the same way so that within a build script either can be used.  At 
lest that was my experience of using it, but it sounds like I may be wrong.

In any case, it is a little messy and perhaps confusing having both in 
there so there may be a case for standardizing on one or the other anyway 
(probably unix / )
