[Geotools-devel] is the SRS used for anything in BBoxImpl ?

Hi folks,

The subject says it all really.  As far as I can work out the the
answer is no, at least in terms of how the filter is evaluated.

This is part of my quest to learn something about best practice for
doing spatial queries across feature sources that have different CRSs,
which in turn was prompted by a user pointing out that the "info tool"
feature query thing in the swing module is too dumb to deal with this
case.

I've now got a hacked local copy of the swing module that fixes the
problem by transforming the query position / bounding box, but surely
such a kludge shouldn't be necessary ? To put it another way, are
CRS-aware spatial filters yet to happen in GeoTools (in which case I'd
be happy to help) are am I just looking in the wrong place ?

Any hints would be much appreciated.
