[Geotools-devel] Contribution: vector rendering and marks with arbitrary sizes

Hello folks

Just submitted a patch (http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-2906) with 
new features for GeoTools (Christmas gift!).

The idea is to enable GeoTools to paint polygon fills and SVGs directly 
to a target Graphics as vectors (e.g., for exporting to SVG and PDF 
using Batik, or rendering to a printer), as well as allowing marks with 
arbitrary sizes.

I hope this interests you guys. Of course, there are a number of 
implementation issues that should discussed (Andrea, please step in when 
you can..). I am leaving implementation comments on the JIRA issue as 
well. I am also attaching there a PDF file that shows which kind of 
results we can get now.
