In fact I am right now going through this since I am packaging JGrass for a course with all last fixes. Apparently on linux64 the 1.0.3 crashes with the current geotools and the 1.0.4 gives me errors when trying to load ecw :) Anyways I will have to test if it is a linux64 issue or general.
