hi, maybe u have found a solution by now but i think using the "gt-render" library might slove the problem. it has the map module in it. Hi all, i am trying to display a simple line shapefile on JMapPane but net beans is giving me these errors: package org.geotools.gui.swing does not exist package org.geotools.map does not exist package org.geotools.map does not exist package org.geotools.renderer.lite does not exist and many more symbol missing errors due to the unavailability of these classes/packages Am i missing to add some other dependencies in POM? my POM.xml currently looks like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0 http://maven.apache.org/maven-v4_0_0.xsd"> <modelVersion>4.0.0</modelVersion> <groupId>org.geotools.demo.example</groupId> <artifactId>geotools1</artifactId> <packaging>jar</packaging> <version>1.0-SNAPSHOT</version> <name>geotools1</name> <url>http://maven.apache.org</url> <build> <plugins> <plugin> <artifactId>maven-compiler-plugin</artifactId> <version>2.0.2</version> <configuration> <source>1.6</source> <target>1.6</target> </configuration> </plugin> </plugins> </build> <dependencies> <dependency> <groupId>junit</groupId> <artifactId>junit</artifactId> <version>3.8.1</version> <scope>test</scope> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>org.geotools</groupId> <artifactId>gt-main</artifactId> <version>2.5.2</version> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>org.geotools</groupId> <artifactId>gt-shapefile</artifactId> <version>2.5.2</version> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>org.geotools</groupId> <artifactId>gt-epsg-hsql</artifactId> <version>2.5.2</version> </dependency> </dependencies> <!-- =========================================================== --> <!-- Repositories (ibiblio, refractions...). --> <!-- This is where Maven looks for dependencies. --> <!-- =========================================================== --> <repositories> <repository> <snapshots> <enabled>false</enabled> </snapshots> <id>ibiblio</id> <name>Ibiblio - the public's library and digital archive</name> <url>http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2</url> </repository> <repository> <id>osgeo</id> <name>Open Source Geospatial Foundation Repository</name> <url>http://download.osgeo.org/webdav/geotools/</url> </repository> <repository> <snapshots> <enabled>false</enabled> </snapshots> <id>geotools</id> <name>Geotools repository</name> <url>http://maven.geotools.fr/repository</url> </repository> <repository> <snapshots> <enabled>false</enabled> </snapshots> <id>central</id> <name>Maven Repository Switchboard</name> <url>http://repo1.maven.org/maven2</url> </repository> </repositories> </project> -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/Displaying-ShapeFile-in-JMapPane-tp2351395p2562606.html Sent from the geotools-gt2-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
