Hi, I have to query a search engine from a Filter Encoding (FE).. So I need to convert the expression to a String. I'm using the parsing method of geotools like so: Configuration configuration = new org.geotools.filter.v1_1.OGCConfiguration(); Parser parser = new Parser( configuration ); try{ //the xml filter instance document InputStream myXmlFilter = new FileInputStream(uriToMyXmlFilterFile); //parse filter = (Filter) parser.parse( myXmlFilter ); } And I'm getting a String interpretation simply using: filter.toString() My problem is that the String interpretation returned is too complex for my search engine, on many points. The parse method, much further into sub-instanciations, is calling some toString to concatenate the final String. In fact, I would like to modify the toString() method of the GeometryFilterImpl class (mainly). My real question there, unless some have a complete different issue to my problem, is how to re-write, extends or whatever enough from geotools to be able to custom that part..? Hope have been clear John -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/-FE--in-need-of-an-implementation-hint-tp20709357p20709357.html Sent from the geotools-devel mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
