Well we can start a thread on the user list as we check the user guide 
examples against the final 2.5.0 release. The user guide was very clear 
about using JTS Geometry.

It has been completed; they were changing to a more capable feature model.

Indeed; the library is transitioning out of the of research and into 
more general use as the products built around it decide on their needs.
