[Geotools-devel] Geotools and GeoApi

I just read your irc log from febuary 16th where some of the developers 
mentioned the relationship between the GeoApi project and Geotools.

Let me quote one statement to come to my question:

The GeoApi project recently released a first subset of interfaces of 
OGCs Feature Geometry/ISO 19107 Spatial Schema. From my current point of 
view Geotools uses some kind of Simple Features as it is based on JTS.

Do you have any plans of providing a richer geometry model like the one 
described in 19107 and modelled in GeoApi? Are there any ambitions to 
provide support for GML3 which refers to Geometry Packages of 19107?
