[Geotools-gt2-users] [LittleOT]: Some experiences with DWG/DXF?

Anyone out there has benn worked with autocad formats, also outside GeoTool=
s?
For DXF i have extracted a GeoTools DataStore from uDig community code
(here: http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/COM/DXF+Plugin )
that seems to work although is very slow (any plan to include the
datastore in the GeoTools repository?), but for DWF i have found only
jdvglib (http://sourceforge.net/projects/jdwglib/)  that is totally
apart from geotools and jgdal
(http://www.projet-sigle.org/rubrique.php3?id_rubrique=3D15 ) that is a
java wrapper for gdal, but gdal not supports
(http://ogr.maptools.org/drv_dxfdwg.html) dwg reading but only
creation.
I could try to develop a GeoTools datastore using jdwglib, but jdwglib
supports DWG R15 format (OpenDWG), and for my purposes formats like
R12 and more are required...
any suggestions?
