I added a new Trac ticket for each of the issues I've reported here that are still unresolved, and I've added another new ticket for a new issue. But there are already a considerable number of existing tickets that are untriaged. . I found one that's over a year old. . There are a few that report genuine defects in 2.2, where the reporter has included a patch. I couldn't find anything on the wiki about who does ticket triage, or ticket management in general. It appears that the current answer is "no one". C'mon PSC/SVN committers, you have to take this seriously if you want to keep the good will of the community! A radical suggestion: add to the "committer responsibility guidelines" for those who commit to trunk/branches a requirement to be on a roster to perform ticket triage/management. -- Richard Walker Software Improvements Pty Ltd Phone: +61 2 6273 2055 Fax: +61 2 6273 2082 |
