Summary: some improvement on X11 UI

Initial Comment:
- visual depth handling (4, 8bit paletted, 15, 16, 24, 32 bit true color)
- can use all the scalers with 8 and grater visual depth  (not just copy like ones)
(- can use the 3x scalers (and 1.5x with timex)
- display 'emulation speed' information in the window title, similar to SDL UI

p.s.: I did not test 
 - on a big endian machine at all, (Fred?)
 - with a really 4bit (16color) mode,
 - with a 32 bit mode

 - ..  hmm... and not on a mixed endian system, e.g. BE CPU with LE graphics card ... :-?

I should be able to test on PPC at some point, I'd say this patch is
post-0.8.0 material at this point though.
