In Plain Text Mode to add "strikethough" to the text formatting options of underline and bold.
This facilitates ToDo lists and being able to "cross-things-out" when they're complete.
It is possible in Rich Text Mode, but not quick to change or access so rather cumbersome to use.

As it is possible to set font, boldness, etc. for plain nodes I severely miss simple access to "strike through". I use strike-through for formatting texts "not relevant any more but must be documented" very often, so it would be nice to be able to define a corresponding physical style pattern in FreeMind.
Strikethrough would be a most welcome feature. I would use it in the way the original poster suggests, to mark "done" tasks that need still to be visible. +1

I strongly want to see Strikethrough text feature.
It makes easier for management to mark which Node is done.
and btw, it doesn't work in rich text mode either.. i don't see the option to do strike through in the rich text mode (edit long node dialog)
this is a long pending requirement from freemind.. don't understand why this is still not provided - it makes it easier for us to do task management.
Hi,
implemented in git: da58f64.
Will be appear with the next beta version 1.1.0 Beta2.
Thanks for the suggestion,
Chris

#539Hi,tag to your word which you want to strikethrough.
I found a way to strikethrough your nodes,
1)Right click and edit long nodes,
2)Change to HTML view,
3)Now insert
