Hi,

bug related in Open questions forum :
file patterns.xml seems not to be read either in .freemind directory or in install directory.

Same bug surely : patterns are not saved after customizing them. Only a blank message box is displayed.

I've verified this. Custom styles are read in beta 16, beta 17, but not beta 18. This seems to be the case whether the patterns XML is put in the application directory or the hidden .freemind directory.
