Scrolling problem on secondary screen

I run freemind on my laptop with a second screen
attached. If I move the freemind window onto the second
screen, the vertical scrolling doesn't work properly -
there is some kind of scrambled scrolling in two bands
at the top and bottom of the window, while a band in
the middle just stays as it is.
This happens whether the secondary screen is on the
left or right of the primary screen.
