From what I remember, the source for this program has been sent to the freedos mailing list by the original author, who claimed that the program was GPLed. And, you know, GPL one time, GPL forever. The source of the program is available on the FD/32 cvs repository, and I don't think this is a GPL violation... If someone wants it, a ``cvs co tests'' should be enough. My opinion would be to avoid duplicate work, and to use this shell... If the original author has problems with this (and I don't understand why he should have problems), he will complain and we will eventually remove the source from the cvs... Regarding the other points that you mentioned in your previous mail, yes, you are right: we will need to copy a GPL.txt file in the floppy image, and to write a readme.txt that explains where to get the sources. We can do it when we will make our first official release.
