Hi all, Ive tried to tackle 2d instrument clipping and had some success , but I'm pretty rusty , I used to do a bit of programming with the DX9 SDK , so a lot of Opengl looks familiar , but its still a struggle. I tried using the glScissor test , and it works well for standard 2d panels, but clipping is done in screen coordinates , so it doesn't work with instruments projected onto a 3d panel . I messed around with glViewport , but that's definitely not the answer.Could anyone with more experience suggest another route ? I thought of masking , but don't know enough yet to try that,and I understand it's a 2 stage process. The only thing I think might work would be RendertoTexture, but I'm not sure.Need to learn more.Think it's doable , or has this all been tried before ? Thanks, Syd |
