I assume that the template.xml shouldn't really contain (odd) <deadband> values already. And then it would be nice if the app would at the beginning repeat how many axes & buttons are available. The alternating query of keyboard and joystick buttons is IMHO a usability bug. It's confusing if joystick buttons are used for pointing to buttons *and* to confirm program input. Better make joystick input for pointing to js buttons/axes *only*, and keyboard keys for switching to the next step. m. |
