Hi Fred, last version (0.3.91 18 feb) work realy fine. compilation platform: linux 2.6.12-9-amd64-k8, distrib. breezy amd64 create, import, re-import fragments OK. opening existing tile OK. importing .hgt files and convert to tiles in .arr files OK. simplifying the .arr tiles, OK (could add some more information in the dialog box, about odd minimal error allowed). positionning objects OK. drawing curves, and show the materials for those curves OK. /!\ 2D5 drawed curves are *not* usable if there is no possibility to tune elevation after embeding, exept for leveled aeras like canals and sea level features. my biggest wish: projection of the curves I draw on the existing elevation :) I did use a new airport from an acked .dat database, realy-realy nice ! what I didn't test for now: boundaries of the tiles curves crossing boundaries importing curves from vmap0 files (have to find and understand that stuff= ) export and import of meshes. Thats not a complete test, I add only once a segfault, (I will launch from command line next time, and give you feedback if possible) For now I just monitor fgsd-cvs log, and focuse on objects and A-10 cockpit modeling. (Beziers-Vias airport building are almost finished, airport too) I wont use 0.3.1 anymore for editing meshes as it's put the mess on the airports ( bad textures with the exported airports OR bad boundaries - tiny but ugly offset - with re-integration of the original airport) editing boundaries vertices is also awfull with 0.3.1. voila, Alexis |
