= Welcome to ePen =
ePen is a tool for novelists, creative writers and book authors. It allows
to keep all information about a book project in a single place and supports
you with automatic links in text.
= Files =
On the SourceForge download page, you will find several files:
ePen-0.9.0-SNAPSHOT.tar - This is the whole binary project. If you just want
to use ePen, this is for you.
setup.sh - Only interesting for new developers. It downloads and compiles
everything so you can start immediately.
README.txt - This file
= Installation =
To install, unpack the archive somewhere (it will create a directory). After
that, you can start ePen by executing
java -jar epen-0.9.0-SNAPSHOT.jar
from the command line or double clicking the main JAR.
= Last Changes =
12. Jan 2010 - The main class looked for the wrong SWT JAR.
= Developer Setup =
- Java SDK 1.5 or better. Download from http://java.sun.com/
- Mercurial 1.5 or better. Download from http://mercurial.selenic.com/
Download the file setup.sh and it from the shell. It will download everything else and compile all parts of the project.
