Emu R/Splus update

I've released an update to the Emu R libraries since the last version (1.7) had a problem which meant it would not install on Windows.

This version should fix that, please let me know if it doesn't. I've also included a tar.gz file for use on OSX which should be installed as a 'source' package from the R packages menu, and on Unix where you can install it with 'R CMD INSTALL'

Emu planning document available

I've posted a document describing our plans for the future of Emu on the website at:

http://www.shlrc.mq.edu.au/emu/planning.shtml

We're now working on the elements that will go together to make version 2.0. This will make use of many components shared with other systems, such as the Annotation graph toolkit and the Edinburgh Speech tools. Any and all are welcome to take part in this effort.
