You could also put repeated information into the header. E.g. the presentation title, or the company name, or whatever. So having support for headers might really be useful. Another thing that's bothering me is the vertical space. There should be much less space between elements, e.g. paragraphs or list items. (Yes, I realize compact_lists is 0, and that's fine, but yet the vertical space should be reduced to a reasonable amount.) And one thing that may be an S5 issue though: The page numbers at the bottom are psychologically a very bad thing for the audience ("oh no, 34 slides to go!").
