My environment: Mac OS 10.3.9 with Plone 2.1.2 installed from the Mac installer (Zope 2.7.8, Python 2.3.5) I downloaded docutils-snapshot.tgz, unpacked, and installed per Quick Start section of README. I can run the test suite from the test directory where I unpacked it with no errors. But I get an error trying to run rst2s5.py: sek$ which python /Applications/Plone2/Library/Software/Zope278/Python/bin/python sek$ which rst2s5.py /Applications/Plone2/Library/Software/Zope278/Python/bin/rst2s5.py sek$ echo $PATH /sw/bin:/sw/sbin:/Applications/Plone2/Library/Software/Zope278/Python/bin: /bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/mysql/bin: /Applications/Graphviz/Graphviz.app/Contents/MacOS:/Users/sek/bin: /usr/X11R6/bin sek$ rst2s5.py --help Traceback (most recent call last): File "/Applications/Plone2/Library/Software/Zope278/Python/bin/rst2s5.py", line 26, in ? publish_cmdline(writer_name='s5', description=description) File "/Applications/Plone2/Library/Software/Zope278/Zope/lib/python/docutils/core.py", line 309, in publish_cmdline pub.set_components(reader_name, parser_name, writer_name) File "/Applications/Plone2/Library/Software/Zope278/Zope/lib/python/docutils/core.py", line 87, in set_components self.set_writer(writer_name) File "/Applications/Plone2/Library/Software/Zope278/Zope/lib/python/docutils/core.py", line 76, in set_writer writer_class = writers.get_writer_class(writer_name) File "/Applications/Plone2/Library/Software/Zope278/Zope/lib/python/docutils/ writers/__init__.py", line 108, in get_writer_class module = __import__(writer_name, globals(), locals()) ImportError: No module named s5 I see that the docutils stuff in /Applications/old-Plone2/Library/Software/Zope273/Zope/lib/python/docutils/ is old, which is what is being called above; whereas the docutils stuff in /Applications/Plone2/Library/Software/Zope278/Python/lib/python2.3/ site-packages/docutils/ looks like the new stuff. What am I doing wrong? I really want to use rst2s5.py... Thanks! Sally |
