Category: DocBook XSL Group: All output formats Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Michael Smith (xmldoc) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Support generation of choice separator in inline simplelist Initial Comment: When a simplelist is rendered inline, it is rendered without a conjunction before the final member. For example: This release adds localiation support for the following Indic languages: Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Oriya, Gujarati. In many langugage (English for example), that looks strange. It would be better to provide an option to have a conjunction generated before the final member. This release adds localiation support for the following Indic languages: Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Oriya, and Gujarati. Furthermore, it would be better if the generated conjuction were appropriate for the logical relationship between the items in the list; example: You must select from ONE and only ONE of the following choices: A, B, C, or D. The "choice separator" should be localized. (For example, "ou" instead of "or" in French-localized output. Or as a temporary workaround, a means should be provided for allowing users to supply and literal string to use as the choice separator for a list. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373750&aid=1207532&group_id=21935 |
