Bugs item #1064123, was opened at 2004-11-11 06:13 Message generated for change (Comment added) made by xmldoc You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373747&aid=1064123&group_id=21935 Category: DocBook XSL Group: None Status: Closed >Resolution: Wont Fix Priority: 5 Submitted By: Sam Steingold (sds) Assigned to: Jirka Kosek (kosek) Summary: uri should be a hyperlink Initial Comment:
is rendered as http://foo.com while it should be http://foo.com I know I can wrap it into a ulink element, but it would be a waste on my part. also, FO will render the element as http://foo.com [http://foo.com] which is rather ugly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Michael Smith (xmldoc) Date: 2004-11-11 20:09 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=118135 Jirka is right. The current behavior is by design. If you want it to generate a hyperlink, then the right way to do that is to wrap it in a ulink. Or just use a ulink and don't use uri at all. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Jirka Kosek (kosek) Date: 2004-11-11 18:47 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=189932 URI shouldn't generate hyperlink. See processing expectations in TDG: http://docbook.org/tdg/en/html/uri.html URI element is intended to capture URI that shouldn't be considered as links -- e.g. XML namespaces. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373747&aid=1064123&group_id=21935 |
