Patches item #514664, was opened at 2002-02-07 23:01 You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373749&aid=514664&group_id=21935 Category: DocBook XSL Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: David Cramer (dcramer) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: keep-together on fo:table-cell if xep Initial Comment: This patch adds a keep-together.within-column="always" attribute to fo:table-cell if xep.extensions are on. This is necessary because xep's running headers don't work correctly without it. RenderX' web site has this to say about fo:table-header: 'Repeatable table header is implemented in a temporary, not conformant style: it is inserted after all cells that may be pending from the previous column, and not on the top of the page. This means that it only produces acceptable visual results when all cells have a keep-together.within-column="always" attribute.' <http://www.renderx.com/Tests/doc/html/spec.html#N4276> RCS file: /cvsroot/docbook/xsl/fo/table.xsl,v retrieving revision 1.14 diff -r1.14 table.xsl 84a85,87 > <xsl:if test="$xep.extensions != 0"> > <xsl:attribute name="keep- together.within-column">always</xsl:attribute> > </xsl:if> 388a392,394 > <xsl:if test="$xep.extensions != 0"> > <xsl:attribute name="keep-together.within- column">always</xsl:attribute> > </xsl:if> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: David Cramer (dcramer) Date: 2002-03-20 13:57 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=281721 One warning about this patch: if you have a table cell that won't fit on one page, the result is unattractive. I'm pretty sure there's a more subtle way to write it--I'll look into that when I have some time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: David Cramer (dcramer) Date: 2002-02-19 15:17 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=281721 Not that it matters much, but the keep-together could be on a fo:table-row instead. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373749&aid=514664&group_id=21935 |
