Category: XSL Group: output: manpages >Status: Pending >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Jean-Louis Martineau (martinea) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: man: indent is wrong if orderedlist inside a variablelist Initial Comment: Once the orderedlist is closed, the following paragraph is indented by too much space. Even the following varlistentry is not correctly indented The xml files, the generated man pages, and the text output is attached. ------------------------------------------ 1. the precision of the column, number of digit after the decimal point for number. Here is an example: includefile string ------------------------------------------ The "Here is an example" is out the the orderedlist, but it looks it is inside the latest listitem. The "includefile string" is the next varlistentry, but it is indented like is is at the same level as the ordered list ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Mauritz Jeanson (mzjn) Date: 2010-03-27 12:37 Message: A fix for this issue has been added to the current codebase. Please test the fix with the latest snapshot from: http://docbook.sourceforge.net/snapshots/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Daniel Leidert (dleidert) Date: 2009-11-02 03:40 Message: Fixed in svn r8530. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Jean-Louis Martineau (martinea) Date: 2009-03-12 22:20 Message: It is not the same bug as debian bug 519438 I already have </orderedlist></para> on the same line The attached patch lists.xml.diff fix my problem but Im not sure it is a correct fix. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Daniel Leidert (dleidert) Date: 2009-03-12 19:13 Message: A pretty similar issue has been reported via the Debian bug tracker: http://bugs.debian.org/519438. The issue seems to be related to the formatting of the input file (see the bug report). If you e.g. use `</itemizedlist></para>' without the newline between these closing tags, the issue cannot be reproduced. The differencve then is .sp .RE before the misplaced paragraph. Unfortunately I cannot attach files to this report, so I quote the testcaes inline: <?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?> <!DOCTYPE refentry PUBLIC '-//OASIS//DTD DocBook XML V4.5//EN' 'http://www.docbook.org/xml/4.5/docbookx.dtd'> <refentry> <refnamediv> <refname>buggy</refname> <refpurpose/> </refnamediv> <refsection> <title>S1</title> <refsection> <title>S2</title> <refsection> <title>S3</title> <para> foo1 <itemizedlist> <listitem><para>bar</para></listitem> </itemizedlist> </para> <para>foo2</para> </refsection> </refsection> </refsection> </refentry> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Robert Stayton (bobstayton) Date: 2009-03-07 22:23 Message: Assigned the Summary to "man:" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373747&aid=2642139&group_id=21935 |
