Category: XSL Group: output: HTML >Status: Closed >Resolution: Out of Date Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Mauritz Jeanson (mzjn) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: html: Chunked DB 5: missing navigational links Initial Comment: When processing DocBook 5 documents using "fast chunking" (chunk.fast=1), the Prev/Next links in the header and footer are missing in the output. Tested with Saxon and xsltproc. Applies to DocBook XSL 1.71.0. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Mauritz Jeanson (mzjn) Date: 2006-11-04 06:09 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=582041 Update: when using Xalan 2.7.0 and chunkfast.xsl, it actually works: you do get the navigational links. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Robert Stayton (bobstayton) Date: 2006-10-08 01:04 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=193218 It appears that the stripNS nodeset step necessary for Docbook 5 documents and the find.chunks nodeset step necessary for fast.chunk do not work together. I'm going to see if Norm can sort this one out. By the way, just setting the chunk.fast parameter is not the recommended way of using fast chunking. You should use the chunkfast.xsl stylesheet instead of chunk.xsl.
