I myself do genealogy, in which it is customary to use "2 February 2005" which has nothing to do with ISO, but IMO reads better. I also like "2005 February 2" which is easy to read, but which is more ISOesque. How about this: What if we make F11(x2) open a menu where you can decide (like the add-on), and F11 (once) enters the default or whatever was entered last time? What other incantations does everybody want? Should we also make the "2005-Feb-02" format available without spaces? How about "2 Feb 2005"? (This is going to be quite a menu.
