Try running this (Start > Run or at a Command Prompt), modifying the path to match your installation (all one line): C:\PROGRA~1\vim\vim63\gvim -U NONE -u $VIMRUNTIME/cream/creamrc --noplugin Does the behavior still exist? If not, you have either a plugin or gvimrc interfering.
