You just want to revise the following lines in cream-menu-edit.vim: anoremenu <silent> 20.410 &Edit.&Find\.\.\.<Tab>Ctrl+F :call Cream_find()<CR> anoremenu <silent> 20.420 &Edit.&Replace\.\.\.<Tab>Ctrl+H :call Cream_replace()<CR> to anoremenu <silent> 20.410 &Edit.&Find\.\.\.<Tab>Ctrl+F :promptfind<CR> anoremenu <silent> 20.420 &Edit.&Replace\.\.\.<Tab>Ctrl+H :promptrepl<CR> You can also put these in cream-user to override.
