Hi, The solution I've suggested was specific for the multiple-member-types issue, because Member.py is returning portal_memberdata's defaultMemberSchema as it's schema (so its returning always the same schema for all types). Also, it is pretty far from beeing a good solution, because I think it will break VariableSchemaSupport through the ZMI, for that type. Your problem is different, I think. It's working for you, because now you don't get the schema from portal_memberdata. The problem was that the schema registered as the default is not the same of your type. Are you correctly registering your type and setting it as the default type?
