[ http://issues.carrot2.org/browse/CARROT-238?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ] Urszula Krukar resolved CARROT-238. ----------------------------------- Fix Version/s: 3.0 M3 (was: 3.0 M4) Resolution: Fixed Starting new search by hitting Enter is implemented in trunk. As for checking if all required fields are filled, I will create new issue for that, since it's separate task in my opinion. > Submitting search by hitting the Enter key > ------------------------------------------ > > Key: CARROT-238 > URL: http://issues.carrot2.org/browse/CARROT-238 > Project: Carrot2 > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: Eclipse browser > Reporter: Stanislaw Osinski > Assignee: Urszula Krukar > Priority: Critical > Fix For: 3.0 M3 > > > Currently it is really annoying that a new search cannot be initiated by hitting the Enter key in any of the required fields (e.g. the query). This is not that easy because we can have different number/ types of required attributes, but I still think it's doable. The way it could work is this: when the user hits Enter on any of the required fields (or only text fields if it's a problem for other types) we check if all the required fields have been filled in. If not, we could focus the first field that is not filled in. If all fields are filled in, we can initiate processing. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.carrot2.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira |
