And gdb for debugging, but MSVC compiler and VS debugger might work as well. You might download Qt library separately and Canorus source and try to compile & debug it yourself. You might also want to download some Qt examples to test SVG stuff only. The problem IMO is in rendering the scalable SVG icon (btw. this is an open XML standard and SVG file format can be viewed in any vector drawing application, eg. www.inkscape.org) to a widget (button, tool button, canvas) which should work out of the box on any platform but obviously it doesn't.
