To play the Devil's advocate: I still haven't heard anything about any significant long-term use. 10 minutes of testing is great, but what about the Bell Curve over a longer period of time. I already capitulated to the fact that nothing gets changed for pre-existing tester - but new testers potentially get more than they bargained for if Karmasphere (or anything else) gets haphazardly added to the code. Thus my argument to the fact that it is added as a *default* setting. Perhaps its a much stronger issue for me running on the Windows side of things (since you don't), but I have been screwed over a few times because of the development and (lack of) testing cycle. This should only be taken as *constructive* criticism. But the 1.3.3.x "stable" releases should make the point I am trying to make evident. Thanks for listening. |
