Arianne RPG: Stendhal 0.92 released

Stendhal 0.92 features an achievement system. Achievements mark milestones reached while playing the game. They track how rich and varied a character's life has been, and provide new goals for things to do. Achievements include completing quests, visiting places, looting items, killing creatures and producing items.

A groups system is introduced, which facilitates small groups of players who embark on an adventure together. Features include shared access for looting corpses, chat channels, and a group GUI for management which also shows the health of group members.

Arianne is a multiplayer online engine to develop turn based and real time games providing a simple way of creating the game server rules and clients like Stendhal. Stendhal has a huge world, with over 250 NPCs and nearly 100 quests.
