make some of the dragons fire breathing, maybe some of
the other monsters too.
As some monsters are archers that fire arrows, a fire
breathing dragon could be a range attack too, and the
DEF from fire is say about 10% as opposed to physical
attack, but also like poison, from 1 breath of fire you
don't loose "x" hit points, you keep loosing it...
Well, my thoughts are that your wearing metal aromour,
or your dressed like a tin can, the dragon blows fire
at you, you cop the brunt of the initial attack, but
the armour would still be hot, so the secondary attack
The only way out is maybe summoning a water elemental,
or drinking some fluids/potions, these have an effect
for a nominated time, but so does the fire from the dragon.
This idea, you could also have HOT areas of the world
(volcano's) where part of a quest could be to walk a
path from point "A" to point "B" or even a perpetual
forrest fire caused by some elves disgrunteled by the
onslaught from many adventurers on killing sprees...
Archers with flaming arrows :P The arrows may not hit
you, but the light the ground close to you, ground that
if you walk on it, its HOT...
