In the attached archive file, three files. One is a dependency of both (the issue is so much capricious I preffered to left the dependency as-is), the two others are similar RIB files with a variation. The TIFF file, is the image which could be rendered with one of the RIB file.

test-1.rib shows the bug: it makes AQSIS crash with a core dump (using AQSIS 1.8.1 on Ubuntu 14.04 32 bits). The other test-2.rib does not make AQSIS crash, and surprisingly, the only difference between the two files, is a comment, which is removed in test-2.rib. The TIFF file was generated from test-2.rib.

I later noticed there is an error of mine, as I gave erroneous arguments to the blobby operator #4, but this should not make AQSIS crash (better make it report an error), and any way, is doesn't crash with the second test file.

If the presence or not of a comment can make AQSIS crash, may be that's somewhere in the parser.

Additionnaly, AQSIS should not have rendered the second test file, as it contains an error (3Delight properly complains about this error).
