Eraser is a secure data removal tool for Windows. It completely removes sensitive data from your hard drive by overwriting it several times with carefully selected patterns.

Darik's Boot and Nuke ("DBAN") is a self-contained boot image that securely wipes hard disk drives (HDDs). DBAN is appropriate for personal use, bulk data destruction, or emergency data destruction for HDDs, but is not recommended for solid-state drives (SSDs), sanitization that requires auditable compliance documentation, or technical support.

Cryptomator is a free and open source project that offers multi-platform, transparent client side encryption of your files in the cloud. It works with just about any cloud storage service; is totally transparent so you can work with your files how you normally would; and secure with a 256-bit key length AES encryption. It’s also simple and easy to use with no need for different accounts, key management, cloud access grants or cipher configurations.

An upstream source site housing the original files for this mirror is no longer available. With this software, you can create one or more "virtual disks" on your PC/PDA. These disks operate exactly like a normal disk, with the exception that anything written to one of them is transparently, and securely, encrypted before being stored on your computer's hard drive.

AWS Vault is a tool to securely store and access AWS credentials in a development environment. AWS Vault stores IAM credentials in your operating system's secure keystore and then generates temporary credentials from those to expose to your shell and applications. It's designed to be complementary to the AWS CLI tools, and is aware of your profiles and configuration in ~/.aws/config. By default, there is a dedicated Keychain for AWS credentials and Keychain prompts you when credentials are accessed. Beyond the strong storage-at-rest, aws-vault generates short-lived session-based credentials to expose to sub-processes and it encourages you to use the tool to run other tools, rather than exporting credentials to your environment. This means that rogue node.js packages have a harder time obtaining your credentials, and when they do, are limited to the lifetime of the session.

FileVerifier++ is a Windows utility for calculating hashes using a number of algorithms including CRC32, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256/224/384/512, WHIRLPOOL, and RIPEMD-128/160/256/320. Supported hash file formats include MD5SUM .MD5, SFV, BSD CKSUM, and others.

BitKiller securely shreds files and directories, removing them completely from your hard disk. It can quickly and efficiently overwrite files using anything from random data to the Gutmann method. It also changes filenames to make them harder to find. No setup or installation needed.

IOS6 and recent iTunes updates have broken a few features. We have made some partial fixes, but they are not complete. Fsum Frontend is a files integrity checker. It can calculate 96 hash and checksum algorithms(CRC32, MD5, SHA1, SHA2, ADLER, DHA256, FORK256, ...). You can verify your files using a .sfv/.md5/.sha1/.sha2 file or create your own checksum file.

IMPORTANT!!! Since this is new software, your web browser, operating system or even possibly antivirus software may report security alerts against this tool. Please ignore that messages until this tool gets widely spread. This program is highly inspired by Win32 Disk Imager and sort of copies it's function. However, I've added some features, like verification of readed/writed image file and the most important is on the fly support for zipped images. Another features worth mentioning are simultaneous write to multiple devices at one time or wiping of device filesystem and partitions. I would be happy to hear your feedback and I'm ready to listen to your suggestions. Feel free to request new features, if I found them interesting I will definitely implement them. Cracx allows you to crack archive passwords of any encryption using 7-zip, WinRAR or a custom command, via Brute Force or Dictionary attack. Note: You must NOT use this program with files you don't have the rights to extract/open/use them! Currently, the program requires a current version of either 7-zip or WinRAR to be installed, but you can also use it to bruteforce basically anything that is executably via command-line with custom parameters. On an i7 CPU, it runs approximately 30 combination tests per second. Feel free to make suggestions or contribute by implementing features and translating the tool into your native language!
