A socket daemon to multiplex connections from and to iOS devices
A socket daemon to multiplex connections from and to iOS devices. usbmuxd stands for "USB multiplexing daemon". This daemon is in charge of multiplexing connections over USB to an iOS device. The daemon is automatically started by udev or systemd depending on what you have configured upon hotplug of an iOS device and exits if the last device was unplugged. When usbmuxd is running it provides a socket interface at /var/run/usbmuxd that is designed to be compatible with the socket interface that is provided on macOS. You should also create an usbmux user that has access to USB devices on your system. Alternatively, just pass a different username using the -U argument. usbmuxd is not used for tethering data transfers which uses a dedicated USB interface to act as a virtual network device. The higher-level layers, especially if you want to write an application to interact with the device, are handled by libimobiledevice. -

HLS.js is a JavaScript library that plays HLS in browsers
HLS.js is a JavaScript library that implements an HTTP Live Streaming client. It relies on HTML5 video and MediaSource Extensions for playback. It works by transmuxing MPEG-2 Transport Stream and AAC/MP3 streams into ISO BMFF (MP4) fragments. Transmuxing is performed asynchronously using a Web Worker when available in the browser. HLS.js also supports HLS + fmp4, as announced during WWDC2016. HLS.js works directly on top of a standard HTML<video> element. HLS.js is written in ECMAScript6 (*.js) and TypeScript (*.ts) (strongly typed superset of ES6), and transpiled in ECMAScript5 using Babel and the TypeScript compiler. Webpack is used to build the distro bundle and serve the local development environment. -

WebDriverManager is an open-source Java library that carries out the management (i.e., download, setup, and maintenance) of the drivers required by Selenium WebDriver (e.g., chromedriver, geckodriver, msedgedriver, etc.) in a fully automated manner. In addition, WebDriverManager provides other relevant features, such as the capability to discover browsers installed in the local system, building WebDriver objects (such as ChromeDriver, FirefoxDriver, EdgeDriver, etc.), and running browsers in Docker containers seamlessly. The primary use of WebDriverManager is the automation of driver management. For using this feature, you need to select a given manager in the WebDriverManager API (e.g., chromedriver() for Chrome) and invoke the method setup(). The following example shows the skeleton of a test case using JUnit 5, Selenium WebDriver, and WebDriverManager. -

base64 RFC1113 Vanilla ANSI-C Code for a portable stand-alone file encode/decode utility. In 2001, I asked people to 'Help me break it!' Since then, 10+years later, the code remains unbroken and is in wide production use world-wide. It has been ported to all major architectures and been used as a template for ports to different computer and human languages. This is very mature and stable code. Although this comes from a project that was constrained by export controls and is used in secure systems, it is not security code per-se. I have therefore altered the 'Export Controls' category.
