ICU is a mature, widely used set of C/C++ and Java libraries providing Unicode and Globalization support for software applications. ICU is widely portable and gives applications the same results on all platforms and between C/C++ and Java software. ICU is released under a nonrestrictive open-source license that is suitable for use with both commercial software and with other open-source or free software. Convert text data to or from Unicode and nearly any other character set or encoding. ICU's conversion tables are based on charset data collected by IBM over the course of many decades and is the most complete available anywhere. Compare strings according to the conventions and standards of a particular language, region or country. ICU's collation is based on the Unicode Collation Algorithm plus locale-specific comparison rules from the Common Locale Data Repository, a comprehensive source for this type of data.

JMX to Prometheus exporter: a collector that can configurable scrape and expose mBeans of a JMX target. This exporter is intended to be run as a Java Agent, exposing a HTTP server and serving metrics of the local JVM. It can be also run as a standalone HTTP server and scrape remote JMX targets, but this has various disadvantages, such as being harder to configure and being unable to expose process metrics (e.g., memory and CPU usage). Running the exporter as a Java agent is strongly encouraged.

TwelveMonkeys ImageIO provides extended image file format support for the Java platform, through plugins for the javax.imageio. package. The main goal of this project is to provide support for formats not covered by the JRE itself. Support for these formats is important, to be able to read data found "in the wild", as well as to maintain access to data in legacy formats. As there is lots of legacy data out there, we see the need for open implementations of readers for popular formats.

This library allows you to use your built-in or external webcam directly from Java. It's designed to abstract commonly used camera features and support various capturing frameworks. Assume a situation when your code depends on some capturing framework, but suddenly you have to drop it and use a different, maybe newer one (e.g. replace archaic JMF with newest GStreamer). By doing this you will have to rewrite significant piece of your code because these frameworks are completely different and not compatible at all. This is where Webcam Capture API comes to save the world - it was created to remove the burden of such situations so you do not have to rewrite your code ever again, but instead, you can simply switch the driver class to a different one.

jclasslib bytecode editor is a tool that visualizes all aspects of compiled Java class files and the contained bytecode. Many aspects of class files can be edited in the UI. In addition, it contains a library that enables developers to read and write Java class files and bytecode. All constant pool entries can be edited. Referenced constant pool entries can directly be edited from the context menu that is shown by the "Edit" button of attributes and constant pool entries. Bytecode instructions can be edited from the context menu.

Pushy is a Java library for sending APNs (iOS, macOS, and Safari) push notifications. Pushy sends push notifications using Apple’s HTTP/2-based APNs protocol and supports both TLS and token-based authentication. It distinguishes itself from other push notification libraries with a focus on thorough documentation, asynchronous operation, and design for industrial-scale operation. With Pushy, it’s easy and efficient to maintain multiple parallel connections to the APNs gateway to send large numbers of notifications to many different applications (“topics”). We believe that Pushy is already the best tool for sending APNs push notifications from Java applications, and we hope you’ll help us make it even better via bug reports and pull requests.
