soapUI is the leading desktop application for inspecting, invoking, monitoring, simulating/mocking and functional/load/compliance/surveillance testing of REST/WADL and SOAP/WSDL-based Web Services over HTTP.
very poor maven support
Excellent tool
This application it perfect for testing web services or for testing your code against a web service. If you have a wsdl, it will mock the service for you so that you can see if your code is sending a valid request without having to have access to the actual service.
I am in a EAI project now, and so many web service in my project. I tested the web service via soapUI. It's a very useful tool and helps me a lot. Great! I will recommend it to everyone whose work is web service-related.
3.0.1 seems buggy as compared to 2.5.1. I have tried reinstalling, removing pre-instaled JREs and reinstalling, etc. But still 3.0.1 loads and the menu drop downs are blank.
One of the best opensource soap Applications
very good

Awesome for load testing, as well as testing web services without having to write a client.
Essential tool for Web Service testing !!
Very useful tool....one does not need any other tool to test and simulator web services.
great app, except it goes bigger and bigger over time; would have preferred a more plugin-oriented architecture to allow me use only what I need (i.e. 3.0 = I don't need reports :)
SOAP UI is simple and brilliant – a true productivity tool Mike (BT)
