Last week, we announced that Tux Paint was our Project of the Month for June 2011. Geared at encouraging children to use the computer to create drawings, this project is a fantastic tool for educators and parents for fostering creativity.
From the project’s home page:
We had the chance to talk to the projects lead developer, Bill Kendrick, about the past, present, and future of Tux Paint. You can read more about this software and Bill at the Tux Paint Project of the Month page.
We are very happy to extend the POTM to a great piece of software loved by kids, teachers, and parents alike. If you have a role in guiding children, you should definitely show them this fun and artistic tool.
