We continue to hear from projects that are looking for developers who are looking for something to work on. Here’s several of them.
If your project is looking for developers to help out, or for someone to adopt a project you no longer have time to work on, please get in touch.
KScope is a source-code browsing, analysis and editing environment for large C projects. The lead developer says that he no longer has time to work on it, and is looking for someone to adopt the project and move it forward. You can contact me directly and I’ll make the necessary introductions.
EditBox is an Eclipse plugin for source code background highlighting. While most of plugins highlight the syntax of the source code, EditBox highlights the selected block of the code by changing its background color and drawing border around it. The project is still alive, but moving slowly, and Piotr, the lead developer, would be very interested in having some help to move things along. With this project also, you should contact me, and I’ll put you in touch with Piotr.
Frozen Bubble Windows Port is, as the name suggests, a port of the Frozen Bubble game to Windows. As it’s a port, there’s not a lot of work to be done, and it rather depends on the Frozen Bubble release cycle. It’s fallen behind, and could use some help with porting the latest version, 2.2.0, to Windows. Anyone interested can contact Amir at firstname.lastname@example.org or @virtuajack on Twitter.
Again, if you want help with your project, get in touch and we’ll try to help.
