Hello, same problem, same link to non-wayland, even though I don't use metacity but gnome-classic. (have a file in .local/share/ session_migration-gnome-classic-xorg containing: migrated=ubuntu-settings-migrate-to-defaults.18.10.1.py;yaru-theme-gtk-abandon-Yaru-light.sh;dark-theme-migration.sh;unity-gnome-shell-migration.17.10.py; this system was migrated from Ub20 to Ub22.04). Hello Aaron, thanks so much for looking at this problem. I actually had an intuition, and solved the problem. I had upgraded some system libraries, but not done a reboot. I did a machine reboot, and now the AppImage is working again. I will close the bug, and sorry for disturbing. I cannot even reproduce the problem now that TaskCoach starts normally. Congrats again on this fine piece of software!!
